Former Little House on the Prairie star (and ex-NFL standout) Merlin Olsen died of cancer a couple weeks ago. News of his death got me thinking of the show, which I used to watch — and love — as a kid. I haven’t seen any eps in probably 20 years (I always seem to catch them right as they’re about to wrap up in syndication), but I’d love to watch some of them again. You know that that means: a DVD purchase is looming in the near future! This item is now added to my Wish List, and I’ll be ordering it as soon as I have an extra 30 bucks.

I’ve been talking to some people, and I think what I might need right now is a colon cleanse. I’m having a lot of trouble with acne and my weight, and both of these things could be linked to digestive disorders. I only need to lose about 5-10 pounds, so an effective colon cleanse could potentially get me halfway there. Also, many folks have reported positive results in their skin after going on a cleanse.
I’m currently reading colonix reviews, and will check out a few other programs as well. I’m a bit scared about potential side effects, but I’ve got vacation time coming up, so I’ll be able to go on one of these programs while staying at home for a week or more.
Will this kind of thing help me? I won’t know until I try!

If you’re like most people, then you probably do a lot of comparison shopping before making major purchases such as televisions, computers, and cars. But do you do the same thing when it comes to a college degree? I’m surprised at the number of people who completely ignore tuition costs when choosing a college or university, and instead base their decision on location, athletic teams, name cachet, or reputation as a “party school”.
With tuition costs rising every single year, it’s important to make sure you’re getting a good educational buy for your money. That’s just one of the reasons you should check out the online degree programs offered by Western Governors University.
WGU is a fully-accredited online university that offers affordable, accelerated degree programs in a variety of in-demand fields. There are a multitude of benefits that go along with enrolling at WGU, including the fact that you can proceed through the program at your own pace — all while keeping up with your full- or part-time job as well as family or other commitments.
If you’re interested in getting a degree that represents an excellent value for your money and will open career doors, then check out Western Governors University for more information.

Are wrinkles a genetic thing? Because I swear, I am already starting to get fine lines around my eyes and mouth even though I’m in still in my mid-30s. That’s too young for wrinkles, right? But my mom got them early too, so I was kind of expecting the same thing.
Nevertheless, I don’t want to just sit back and accept my “fate”. I’ve been looking around for some products to buy and started reading strivectin sd reviews. This seems to have worked for many women, so I might end up giving it a try. Over the summer I’m planning on meeting up with an old friend I haven’t seen in 15 years, and I want to look my best for that. Hopefully the strivectin will do its job by then!

In addition to the acne problems that I detailed in my last post, I also have some trouble with mild eczema around my elbows and knees. I swear, my skin issues are never ending! I usually just go to the dermatologist when the eczema flares up, and she prescribes a very powerful lotion that clears everything away in just a few days. Unfortunately, the lotion is quite expensive and I just don’t have the money to get it right now.
So I’m wondering what the best OTC eczema treatments are? I’ve heard some good things about Aveeno, but have always been under the impression that that stuff was for poison ivy or whatever. I’m more than willing to give it a try, though, seeing as how I can get it from the corner drugstore. Is there anything else worth buying?

I just don’t know what to do about my face anymore. Seriously, I’ve tried practically every prescription and OTC acne treatment out there, and still have problems. I don’t even want to think about how much money I’ve wasted, but here’s just a partial listing of all the products I’ve used in the past couple of years: DIM supplements, fish oil tablets, zinc picolinate, various vitamins for acne, BHA gel, AHA gel, benzoyl peroxide gel, Metrogel, Adalpene (Differin), Clindamycin, jojoba oil, extra virgin olive oil, probiotic yogurt, apple cider vinegar, and more toners, scrubs, and cleansers than I can count.
After reading some message boards, I think I might have a fungal infection rather than acne, so my next purchase will be Nizoral cream, which is supposed to combat the kind of fungus that gets on your face. Why do I think I have fungus? Because my problem consists of tiny, non-inflamed skin-colored bumps that form in clusters at the same places all the time (it’s the worst at my temples). No acne treatment works on them, so they’re practically always present. Even big, red, inflamed zits go away after a while, ya know? But not these. If the Nizoral doesn’t work, then I seriously give up. I can’t keep going through all of this.

I was looking something up this afternoon, and as often happens on the Internet, one thing led to another until I landed on the Wikipedia page for shoplifting. If you follow that link, you’ll see a number of shoplifting techniques described right on the page. But in reading through them, I can’t help but wonder how they would ever work. I mean, most stores have multiple security cameras that cover every aisle and corner, so how could someone, for example, take a baby stroller out of a box and refill the box with other merchandise without getting noticed (as described on the site)? People who try that kind of thing deserve to get busted!

With spring on its way, Jerry is already counting down the days until he can take the bike out for a few hard laps around the local motocross track. He has also said that he needs a new helmet, and is looking at this Arai VX-Pro3 model in the Akira orange paint scheme. At a price tag of close to $600, it’s very expensive, but then again, safety is very important so a good helmet is a must. I figure better spend that money proactively on a quality piece of protective equipment than reactively on a motorcycle accident lawyer or hospital bills.
Anyway, it will take us a little while to save up this kind of money. We have maybe a third of it right now, so if no other unexpected expenses pop up in the next six weeks, I’m sure he’ll go ahead and buy this Arai helmet!
