OTC Eczema Treatment
March 17th, 2010 by Chronic Consumer
In addition to the acne problems that I detailed in my last post, I also have some trouble with mild eczema around my elbows and knees. I swear, my skin issues are never ending! I usually just go to the dermatologist when the eczema flares up, and she prescribes a very powerful lotion that clears everything away in just a few days. Unfortunately, the lotion is quite expensive and I just don’t have the money to get it right now.
So I’m wondering what the best OTC eczema treatments are? I’ve heard some good things about Aveeno, but have always been under the impression that that stuff was for poison ivy or whatever. I’m more than willing to give it a try, though, seeing as how I can get it from the corner drugstore. Is there anything else worth buying?
