Mighty Bright XtraFlex Book Light
February 8th, 2009 by Chronic Consumer
I have an Amazon Kindle that I absolutely love, and since I’m the kind of person who reads myself to sleep every night, I’ve been wanting a book light for my Kindle for a while now. The Kindle doesn’t have a backlight, which is why it’s so easy on the eyes when you read it. But that makes things a bit problematic when I want to stay up late with my latest mystery, while my husband is trying to sleep so he can go to work in the morning.
The Mighty Bright XtraFlex Clip-On Book Light should take care of that problem. This is a battery-operated portable LED light that is perfect for reading. It can clip onto the Kindle book cover (provided with each Kindle order), thereby making it possible to read in bed, on an airplane, etc. without disturbing those around you. Moreover, the Mighty Bright has a LumaLenz lens that spreads the light evenly, eliminating annoying hot spots.
I ordered the Mighty Bright Book Light from Amazon.com last night. It cost me $13.14, plus $5 and change in shipping. I probably could have found this at Barnes & Noble or a regular store for the same price and come out ahead on shipping fees, but whatever. It was an impulse purchase because I couldn’t sleep!
Anyway, the light should be here in a couple of days. I can’t wait to start using it, and I’ll be sure to post a full review once I receive it!
