Like most people, when I hear the word Botox, I immediately think of aging Hollywood actresses who undergo cosmetic injections of this substance in order to get rid of frown lines, wrinkles, and so-called neck bands. These procedures usually work, which is why it’s pretty easy to spot people who have had this kind of work done.
But did you know that people are also using Botox for migraines? I just read that when Botox is injected in the face, neck, and/or scalp areas, it has provided migraine relief in some patients. Plus, since there are relatively few (if any) side effects of Botox, this could prove to be a great alternative treatment method for those who have adverse reactions to traditional drugs.
Very interesting. I had no idea Botox could be used for anything other than cosmetic procedures!

Ohio residents, don’t forget that today is your chance to score a large, one-topping pizza from Papa John’s for just 23 cents! This special sale is the chain’s “apology” to Cleveland Cavaliers fans after a Papa John’s franchise in Washington, D.C. printed t-shirts calling Cavs superstar LeBron James a crybaby because of his complaints about hard fouls during the first round of the NBA playoffs.
The special Papa John’s 23 cent pizza sale is currently available at 86 stores in Cleveland, Columbus, Toledo, and Youngstown.
Early reports indicate that people are waiting up to 2.5 hours for the 23 cent pizzas. That seems pretty outrageous to me. Isn’t your time worth more than that? If you make, say, $10 per hour at work, you’re essentially giving up $25 to wait that long for a pizza. But I guess most people don’t look at it that way; they just see the 23-cent price tag.
At any rate, good luck to those of you who live in Ohio. Buy several pizzas and freeze them for later!

I go to a gym three times a week for cardio and weight training, and on other days, I spend at least 30 minutes on a mini-stepper that I have here at home. Well, at least I used to, before the thing broke yesterday.
This is actually the second mini-stepper that has broken on me in the past 3 years. I don’t know if it’s me or if I’m just buying crappy products, but I’m getting tired of this. These machines have come from two different companies, so maybe I’m the problem after all. Maybe I’m using the machines longer than they’re supposed to be used, thereby causing excessive friction and heat, which could lead to breakdowns and malfunctions.
At this rate, I’d probably just be better off buying diet pills and forgetting about spending money on more home exercise products. My garage is full of ab machines, thigh machines, and now mini-steppers that don’t work anymore. What a waste!
