Shopping for “Personal” Items
September 29th, 2007 by Julie
Do you get embarrassed when it comes time to buy “personal” items from the drug store? I have a friend, a 33-year-old woman, who absolutely refuses to buy condoms on her own. She always asks someone else in our group of friends to do it for her, and from what I understand, this behavior dates back to her college days. It’s weird to me, but I guess there are all kinds of people out there…!
I, on the other hand, don’t even blink when it comes to purchasing personal items. I mean, what’s the big deal, right? So whether we’re talking condoms, lubricants, home pregnancy tests, douches, colon cleansers, adult diapers, or protective underwear, I have no qualms about putting this stuff in my cart and heading to the register.
What about you? Can you buy items like this, or do you make your spouse/significant other/best friend do it for you?

I especially enjoy making teenage boys squirm when I buy Maxi pads.
I’d love for you to visit my blog. . . you may like it and have suggestions. Thanks.
